Master of Electrical Engineering
Master of Electrical Engineering is a postgraduate program under the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). It was officially established on April 16, 2012 with the holding permit from the Directorate General of Higher Education No. 103/E/0/2012. Master of Electrical Engineering is run by academic practitioners and staff in the field to ensure high-quality delivery of teaching and learning, active research, and regular community services. Academically, Master of Electrical Engineering has a functional consultative relationship with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering under the same faculty. Currently, Master of Electrical Engineering has 6 fields of study, namely:
- Information Technology,
- Telecommunication Engineering,
- Energy Management and Electric Power Quality,
- Renewable Energy Electrical Engineering,
- Biomedical Engineering
- Industry 4.0.
The Master's Program in Electrical Engineering has been accredited with the status of "Excellent" based on the decree of the Independent Accreditation Agency for Engineering Education (LAM Teknik) No. 0138/SK/LAM Teknik/AM/IV/2025. This decree was issued in Jakarta on April 21, 2025, and is valid from April 21, 2025 to April 20, 2030.
